I had an opportunity to do freelance work for the Milton Hershey hospital. For a journal entry talking about an experimental procedure, I created an organ giving a visual for this entry. I looked up reference photos of the esophagus and used the 3d printed model of a stint to create the 3D models necessary to make the graphics. I went through several iterations of the graphics, learning techniques such as subsurface scattering to create more realistic organs. The following images go through the progression of several iterations that I had with the hospital.
